Is a real person looking at my books?
Yes. A bookkeeper reviews every close before you see it. TidyMonth handles the categorization and reconciliation first, which is why the person's time and your price stay small.
What if my books are a year behind?
Run the Books Check, free. It tells you exactly where your books stand, what needs catch-up, and one flat price for the cleanup. Up to three months of backlog is included in your subscription. Longer catch-ups are quoted after inspection.
Do I have to leave QuickBooks?
You do not have to cancel it, but TidyMonth becomes your working ledger. We import your QuickBooks history once, then every month's bookkeeping happens in TidyMonth. Your CPA gets full reports and exports, including back to QuickBooks if they want it. We never keep two live ledgers, so there is always one number that is true.
What do you need from me each month?
About ten minutes. We handle hundreds of transactions and surface the handful that need a business decision you'd know. You answer in the app. Everything else is handled.
Can you file my taxes?
No. We prepare the books your CPA files from and hand them a clean year-end package. If you do not have a CPA, we will introduce one.
What do I pay today, and when does monthly billing start?
Your Books Check shows two numbers before you pay anything: a one-time catch-up price, which is $0 when you are three months behind or less, and $199 for the first month. Both are charged at checkout. Monthly billing then repeats on that same date each month until you cancel. The first-close refund covers that first $199 payment.
What if I'm not happy?
If your first Tidy Close is not worth it, we refund your first monthly payment of $199 in full. No questions asked.
